Gratitude
- We ended October with more sales than I thought and put us in a better financial situation for the winter.
Yesterday recap
Had 5 winterization stops, with two in the morning window and three in the late, which gave me this weird 3 hour gap. My first stop was a mess. Not because something went wrong, but because the people forgot I was coming so made me wait a long time and then where I needed to work was covered in dog shit. Fucking people. Shit is shit and you gotta clean up after your dog or you just have a yard covered in fucking shit.
In the 3 hour gap I hit Home Depot for a couple parts and then worked on business admin stuff in my truck.
When I got home I reorganized the truck and did a little research about guest accounts for the cyberdeck. I’m going to have to create generic accounts and then print a cheatsheet to go inside the kit. I think that’ll be the best option. I can spice it up with some business cards since I have one of those packs of perforated cards you can print at home.
Hung out for the hour or so before dinner and then we celebrated my sons birthday. He wanted tacos for dinner and a chocolate cherry cake, which my wife happily made for him. Gave him gifts and he talked about the gifts he received from his friends. Don’t let anyone tell you internet friends aren’t real friends.
Gorls went to bed and we started watching War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise.

- Roll up front door rug, stow, and replace with new holiday rug.
- Get out Autumn decorations from attic storage.
Fun
- Finish watching War of the Worlds.
Projects
- Make second NFC tag for boredom hotspot. I have one that connects users to the hotpsot. Now I need one that will take them to the URL to access the content.
