Today’s recap

These are the times it is hard to write daily notes. I’m not doing anything except work and rest.

Today we plumbed the entire backyard and then backfilled all the trenches. It poured rain all day and I was soaked and freezing when I got home. We are near freezing, so the rain is occasionally falling as wet snow or sleet. Regardless of the weather it was still a productive day. We are trending ahead of schedule.

Work has no breaks and I’m busy until 5PM I’m barely looking at my phone, let alone any other device. So, other than the US on the brink of war with Iran, I don’t know anything else that is going on in the world. Honestly, I’m okay with that. I’m not okay with going to war, however.

Dinner and relaxing. Mentally, not tired. Physically, exhausted.

Projects

No projects today, althought I am desperate to find one. Weather is still too cold for gardening and I am all out of ideas for tech projects for fun.

Daily gratitude

  • Our customer is very, very nice. A little ecentric, but very nice.
  • My LED flame desk lamp Wife got me for Xmas. I love this thing and is a nice companion on my desk while writing these.
  • It is a lot of fun to watch my son work in this weather. He is doing great.

Tomorrow’s big thing(s)

One more day closer to a full days rest.

Loose thoughts

All work and no play make Homer go something something.

I hope my HOA doesn’t have a melt down over my work trailer being in the driveway for a few days.
