A list of what is currently on my project list - including my personal tech projects, the house, and my sprinkler contracting business - plus what I am watching, reading, and listening to during the day.

Tech

Replacing my two youngest kids PC setup. The goal here is to build them a setup they can use for many years for school, gaming, and fun. One is completed. The tech I am giving them is a Lenovo LOQ laptop with an Acer 1080p 100hz monitor. Currently saving money to do this.
- Update April 30, 2024: I have purchased the monitors, stands, and one laptop. I will probably be able to get the other sometime this summer.

House

Slowly working on pressure washing the siding on the house. Front is complete.
Moving my desk from the garage/shop to our bedroom. I’ve tried to make the garage my own space, but its just too cold.
- This is done and I like my setup. .
Planting more shrubs and groundcover in the backyard and removing the raised beds for edibles. Not interested in growing food any more and instead want a beautiful flower garden for the kids and pets to play in.
- Planted a Victoria Ceanothus, a plant my wife really likes. It attracts a lot of furry, clumsy bumble bees as well as hummingbirds. It has taken nicely to its spot in the yard.

Entertainment

Watching: Mini PC homelab builds on YouTube.
Reading: Blacktop Wasteland by S.A. Crosby.
Playing: Stronghold. This is a RTS PC game I’ve been playing since its original release in 2001.

Work

Figuring out how to get all this work done. We are absolutely slammed and the work is physically hard. This means I need time off to recover, but the phone keeps ringing and the calendar keeps filling.
