Following more blogs and an update to my blogroll

Posted on Jan 12, 2024

A lot of my blogs recently have been extremely long, so this one is short and to the point.

In the last year I started blogging more. This change has been good for me. One of the hidden benefits of blogging is that you find a lot of other bloggers who are amazing people and publish fantastic posts. Seeing my RSS feeds for blogs is one of the rare things that has made me happy in the last few months.

With that said, I’ve updated the blogroll on this site to reflect all the new people and places I am following in my RSS feeds. The list is much more thorough now to include news sources and newsletters, plus some Git tracking and a few Reddit boards.

I also want to follow more! If you write a blog, drop me a link on Mastodon. If you don’t blog, now is a great time to start. With the growth of blogs since the Twitter implosion, plus the exodus from Substack, there’s lots of people talking about how they are moving to blogs, where they are landing, and how they set it up.

Of course I am happy to share how I host this blog as well 😺.
